* Watertown Electricity Choice program prices include a $0.001/kWh administrative fee. Program prices could increase as a result of a change in law that results in a direct, material increase in costs during the term of the electricity supply agreement. Program prices apply only to the Supply portion of your Eversource electric bill. Delivery charges on your Eversource electric bill are not affected by the Watertown Electricity Choice program. Some large commercial accounts may not be eligible for program pricing at the time of enrollment and may instead be offered market pricing. Visit the FAQ page for more information.
** The Commonwealth of Massachusetts requires that all electricity supply products include a minimum of 59% from renewable energy resources in 2023, 62% in 2024, 63% in 2025, and 69% in 2026. Watertown Basic meets the minimum requirement. Watertown Standard and Watertown 100% Green exceed this requirement. The Watertown 100% Green option is a 100% MA Class I REC offering, which means it includes the minimum amount of MA Class I RECs required by law each year (22% in 2023, 24% in 2024, 27% in 2025, 30% in 2026) plus the additional amount needed to reach 100% (78% in 2023, 76% in 2024, 73% in 2025, 70% in 2026). Watertown’s electricity supplier must also purchase electricity from other clean or renewable sources such as nuclear or trash-to-energy to meet state requirements. As a result, the total of the renewable content for the Watertown 100% Green option exceeds 100%. Visit the Resources page to download the most recent electricity generation disclosure label.
