Options & Prices

All new electricity customers in Watertown are automatically enrolled in Standard and receive at least 50% of their electricity from renewable energy projects, unless the account holder chooses to opt out. The program also offers two other options, which are available by request:

  • For 100% renewable electricity, you may opt up to the 100% Green option.
  • For only the minimum amount of renewable electricity required by state law, you may opt down to the Basic option. (This is the Basic offering within Watertown Electricity Choice. It is different from Eversource’s Basic Service.)

If you participate in Watertown Electricity Choice, NextEra Energy Services will be listed on your Eversource electricity bill as your electricity supplier. See an example Eversource bill.
