Options & Prices

  • All new electricity customers in Watertown are automatically enrolled in the Standard Offering and receive 53% of your electricity from “premium” renewable energy projects in the New England region, unless the account holder chooses to opt out.
  • For 100% renewable electricity, you may opt up to the Greener Option.
  • For no additional renewable electricity, you may opt down to Basic. (This is the Basic offering within Watertown Electricity Choice. It is different from Eversource’s Basic Service.)

Electricity supplier: If you participate in Watertown Electricity Choice, you will see Direct Energy listed on your Eversource electricity bill as your electricity supplier.

Electricity mix: The program’s electricity supplier is required to provide an energy mix disclosure label that offers details about all of the sources of electricity provided. Visit the Resources page to download the most recent label.
