Electricity mix: The Commonwealth of Massachusetts requires that all electricity supply products include a minimum of 62% from renewable energy resources in 2024, 63% in 2025, and 69% in 2026. Power Choice Standard meets the minimum requirement. Power Choice Green exceeds this requirement. The program’s electricity supplier is required to provide an energy mix disclosure label that offers details about all of the sources of electricity provided. Visit the Resources page to download the most recent label.
Compare prices: Use the tables below to compare Sutton Power Choice prices with National Grid’s current Basic Service prices (scroll down). To compare with National Grid’s most recent 12-month average price, use the online calculator.
Please note:
Prices for Power Choice Standard and Power Choice Green include a $0.001/kWh administrative fee. Program prices could increase as a result of a change in law that results in a direct, material increase in costs during the term of the electricity supply agreement. Program prices apply only to the Supply Services portion of your National Grid electric bill. Delivery Services charges on your National Grid electric bill are not affected by the Sutton Power Choice program.
Some large commercial accounts may not be eligible for program pricing at the time of enrollment and may instead be offered market pricing. Visit the FAQ page for more information.
