Your options

Your options are as follows. National Grid’s Basic Service prices are below for comparison:

  • Power Choice Standard is the least expensive offering within Sutton Power Choice and is the default. As a new participant in the program, you will be enrolled in Power Choice Standard unless you choose the Power Choice Green option. Power Choice Standard provides the minimum amount of electricity generated by renewable sources (for example, the wind and the sun) required by state law.
  • Power Choice Green is an option that provides all (100%) of your electricity from renewable sources for a small additional premium.
  • Opt out of the program at any time with no fee or penalty if you do not wish to participate.

All new electricity customers in Sutton will automatically enrolled in Power Choice Standard within a few months of opening their account.

Electricity supplier: Sutton’s current electricity supplier is: Constellation. If you participate in Sutton Power Choice, you will see Constellation listed on your National Grid electricity bill as your electricity supplier.

Electricity mix: The program’s electricity supplier is required to provide an energy mix disclosure label that offers details about all of the sources of electricity provided. Visit the Resources page to download the most recent label.
