Options & Pricing

The Standard Offering includes the purchase of renewable electricity to match 62% your electricity use and is the default program offering.

You may also choose one of the other program options:

  • To purchase renewable electricity to match 100% of your electricity use, opt up 100% Green option.
  • To purchase no additional renewable electricity, opt down to the Basic option. (NOTE: This is the Basic option within the Newton Power Choice program. It is different from Eversource’s Basic Service.)

Electricity supplier: If you participate in Newton Power Choice, you will see Direct Energy listed as your electricity supplier on your Eversource electricity bill.

Electricity mix: The program’s electricity supplier is required to provide an energy mix disclosure label that offers details about all of the sources of electricity provided. Visit the Resources page to download the most recent label.

Opt down to Basic

NOTE: Prices for the Standard Offering, 100% Green, and Basic include a $0.001 /kWh administration fee. Program prices could increase as a result of a change in law that results in a direct, material increase in costs during the term of the electricity supply agreement. Program prices apply only to the electricity supply portion of your Eversource electricity bill. Delivery charges on your Eversource electricity bill are not affected by the Newton Power Choice program.
