If you want 100% renewable energy, choose 100% Green, which includes least 19% from renewable energy projects in New England. 100% Green is the default program offering. All new Eversource Basic Service customers will be automatically enrolled in 100% Green, unless they choose a different option or opt out. 

If you want 100% renewable energy from New England-based renewable energy projects, choose New England Green.

If you do not want 100% renewable energy, choose Basic.

Price 10.449 ¢/kWh for residential, small business, and medium & large business accounts 11.624 ¢/kWh for residential, small business, and medium business accounts.
Renewable energy content 100% renewable energy. That means:

  • 14% renewable electricity from New England to meet the minimum Massachusetts state requirements (MA Class I RECs to meet RPS requirements – learn about the Massachusetts RPS and APS.)
  • 5% additional renewable electricity from New England (MA Class I RECs)
  • 81% from wind projects outside of New England

  • 86% from traditional, non-renewable energy generation sources

NOTE: Prices for 100% Green, New England Green, and Basic include a $0.001 /kWh administration fee. Program prices apply only to the electricity supply portion of your Eversource electric bill. Delivery charges on your Eversource electric bill are not affected by the Lexington Community Choice program.
