Program prices

Dunstable Community Power offers two options:

As a new participant, you will be automatically enrolled in Dunstable Standard, which is the lowest-priced option in the program.
The Dunstable 100% Green option is available by request and provides 100% of your electricity from renewable sources.

As a participant in Dunstable Community Power, your electricity supplier will be Dynegy.

If you are eligible for a low-income discount or fuel assistance, you continue to receive that benefit as a participant in Dunstable Community Power. If you have National Grid’s Budget Plan, it continues to apply to your whole bill.

Dunstable Community Power prices are fixed until December 2026.

What happens in December 2026?

The Town intends to sign a new, long-term contract when the contract with Dynegy expires. The Town will announce the new prices before they take effect, and your account will be automatically enrolled into the new price for your program option unless you opt out or choose a different option.

Please note: Some industrial accounts may not be eligible for program pricing at the time of enrollment and may instead be offered market pricing.

Compare to National Grid

Dunstable Community Power offers long-term prices, but National Grid’s prices change seasonally. It is normal for Dunstable’s prices to be lower than National Grid sometimes and higher at other times. The goal of Dunstable Community Power is to provide savings when compared with the average of National Grid’s changing prices.
