Opt up to the 100% Green Plus option to receive all of your electricity from renewable energy sources like the sun and the wind. If you do not opt up to 100% Green Plus, you will receive Standard Green, which is the default program offering. Participants in both 100% Green Plus and Standard Green will support the development of a new solar energy project in Cambridge through a small $0.002/kWh charge. Once this new solar energy project is up and running, all participants will receive renewable electricity from this project.
Electricity supplier: If you participate in the Cambridge Community Electricity Program, you will see Direct Energy listed on your Eversource electricity bill as your electricity supplier.
Electricity mix: The program’s electricity supplier is required to provide an energy mix disclosure label that offers details about all of the sources of electricity provided. Visit the Resources page to download the most recent label.

NOTE: Prices for both Standard Green and 100% Green Plus include a 0.2 ¢/kWh charge to support the development of a new solar energy project in Cambridge and a 0.075 ¢/kWh administration fee. Program prices apply only to the electricity supply portion of your Eversource electricity bill. Program prices could increase as a result of a change in law that results in a direct, material increase in costs during the term of the electricity supply agreement. Delivery charges on your Eversource electricity bill are not affected by the Cambridge Community Electricity program.
