* The Power Choice Standard price and Power Choice Green price both include a $0.001/kWh administrative fee. Program prices could increase as a result of a change in law that results in a direct, material increase in costs during the term of the electricity supply agreement. Program prices apply only to the electricity supply portion of your electric bill. Delivery charges on your electric bill are not affected by Bellingham Power Choice. Some large commercial accounts may not be eligible for program pricing at the time of enrollment and may instead be offered market pricing. Visit the FAQ page for more information.
** The Commonwealth of Massachusetts requires that all electricity supply products include a minimum of 59% from clean or renewable energy resources in 2023, 62% in 2024, and 63% in 2025, which includes electricity from MA Class I renewable energy projects and also from other clean or renewable sources such as nuclear and trash-to-energy. Power Choice Standard meets the minimum requirement. Power Choice Green exceeds it by including additional electricity from MA Class I renewable energy projects. Power Choice Green provides 100% of your electricity from MA Class I-eligible renewable energy projects. To achieve this, the program buys the minimum amount of MA Class I RECs required by law each year plus the additional amount needed to reach 100%. However, Bellingham’s electricity supplier must also purchase other renewable or clean energy to meet state requirements. As a result, the total renewable content for Power Choice Green exceeds 100%.
