Example National Grid bill

This page helps you to find Bellingham Power Choice on your bill. Check out the calculator to compare the cost of participating in Bellingham Power Choice vs. your utility’s Basic Service.

As a participant in Bellingham Power Choice, you will see two changes on your National Grid electric bill:

  1. Bellingham’s electricity supplier will be listed on your bill as your electricity supplier.
  2. National Grid will use a Bellingham Power Choice price to calculate the Supply Services portion of your electric bill instead of their Basic Service price.

Bellingham Power Choice will impact only the Supply Services portion of your National Grid electric bill. National Grid’s Delivery Charges are not impacted by your participation in Bellingham Power Choice.

Here’s what to look for:

Delivery Services

Delivery Services appear on the first page of your bill as a list of charges. Delivery Services charges are not impacted by your participation in Bellingham Power Choice. These charges are regulated.

Supply Services

The second part of your is Supply Services, which typically appears on the bottom of the first page or at the top of the second page of your bill. Supply Services charges are impacted by your participation in Bellingham Power Choice.

If you are enrolled in Bellingham Power Choice, the Supply Services portion of your bill will identify NextEra Energy Services as your electricity supplier and provide their contact information:

  • The first number is your electricity supply price. That price will reflect which program option you are enrolled in. (Learn more about program prices.)
