Your options

Walpole Power Choice offers two program options:

  • Power Choice Standard: As a new participant, you will be automatically enrolled in Power Choice Standard, which is the least-expensive option in the program (though savings compared with Eversource’s Basic Service prices cannot be guaranteed).
  • Power Choice Green: If you want to receive all of your electricity from renewable sources, such as the sun and the wind, and you are willing to pay a bit more for it, you can choose the Power Choice Green option instead.

* Prices for both Power Choice Standard and Power Choice Green include a $0.001/kWh administrative fee. Program prices could increase as a result of a change in law that results in a direct, material increase in costs during the term of the electricity supply agreement. Program prices apply only to the electricity supply portion of your Eversource electric bill. Delivery charges on your Eversource electric bill are not impacted by Walpole Power Choice. Some large commercial accounts may not be eligible for program pricing at the time of enrollment and may instead be offered market pricing. Visit the FAQ page for more information.

** The Commonwealth of Massachusetts requires that all electricity supply products include a minimum of 59% from renewable energy resources in 2023, 62% in 2024, 63% in 2025, and 69% in 2026. Power Choice Standard meets the minimum requirement. Power Choice Green exceeds this requirement.
